Challenge: Management wanted to provide a safe onsite option to keep employees happy and drive productivity. No hot food options on-site and vending machines quickly became boring.

Solution: Fooda schedules a daily rotation of local restaurants to set up on-site and serve lunch to employees. The restaurant of the day is ready to sell by the start of the first lunch break and stays for three hours to accommodate three separate breaks. Vending machines were kept on-site to compliment the program.

Multi-Tenant Building in Detroit brings in food trucks and restaurant Popups

Challenge: After selecting a foodservice provider to operate a full café in Fort Worth, a plant had to move some employees to a remote facility that did not have access to the café. The client believed that no matter what food options were available at the new facility, they were unable to provide the robustness of the full café program that they were building out. Additionally, they were only moving a small population into the new facility, which would likely create an extremely expensive program if they utilized their café provider.

Solution: The client determined that by providing a $4 subsidy program, they could provide a benefit that offset not having the robustness of a full café. In doing so, the company has been able to provide daily hot food options to a building of 140 employees.

Challenge: Catering provider’s boxed lunch product often arrived late, which meant shift workers missed their meals. Food lacked variety and did not meet dietary restriction needs of the staff.

As their onsite population has increased with more people reuniting in person, Fooda has scaled with the company by adding multiple participating restaurants each day to their boxed lunch program. The phased strategy adds Popup restaurants into the mix as they continue to reunite more team members.
