THANK YOU

Fooda Community

Dear Friends,

Hopefully you are settling down to enjoy time with your loved ones while anticipating a strong 2022. At the end of the year, we want to take a moment to thank you - the Fooda community - for your continued belief in the power of supporting local restaurants and your belief that breaking bread together is the best way to (re)build workplace communities. 70% of people in the workplace believe that food at work is more important now than pre-COVID.

2021 has been a positive year of growth. Our restaurant partners have benefited from a 3x increase in food sales, thanks to office communities reuniting in person and our aggressive expansion into healthcare, our military, distribution centers, and manufacturing.

An amenity once primarily available to salaried office workers now includes a broader chunk of the American workforce. We’re very excited about this! And we are thankful to all of these new employers that want to provide better onsite experiences for their teams.

As a result of this growth, we’re delighted to announce that 500 new restaurant partners have joined the Fooda network this year. Most of them are independent, hardworking small business owners. They are proud to serve their excellent food to people who are working in person.

Finally, as a business, Fooda is proud to welcome 160 newly hired employees at our headquarters in Chicago and within our markets across the country.

As we look ahead to a year when teams plan to reunite in person, we thank you for being part of the future of food at work. As leaders within this space, we’re excited about what we will accomplish together in 2022.

From all of us at Fooda, we wish you a warm holiday season.

Sincerely,
Alex Groesbeck | President
